I need to know when an overlay is loaded. Is there any way to know
that? Thanks.

Look at the 'addoverlay' event of the GMap2 object.

Thanks for your response, Marcelo. I'm using a GGroundOverlay and I
need to know when the overlay has loaded. The addOverlay event tells
me that I did map.addOverlay(...), but when the event is triggered,
the map image has not arrived. Thanks.

The API doesn't tell you when the image has loaded. If you really need
to know that information, then you can write your own custom GOverlay
and use that instead of GGroundOverlay.

Hint: you can use the EInsert.groundOverlay() code as a basis:

Add an "onload" attribute to the <img> and to the AlphaImageLoader
filter. (You'll have to look up the syntax for AlphaImageLoader onload
attributes yourself).
